Londres: Eastend

Eastenders is a series of the BBC that runs in the streets of the Eastend London. When I was a teenager I was watching it and it's still on the antenna, in fact, it is breaking records of permanence of a series on television. I really like the song, when you hear it, you already know what Eastenders are doing.
When we went to London, we rented a small apartment on Beck Road, in one of the Eastend neighborhoods. It's a neighborhood of workers, in fact, walking through its streets reminds you a lot about the series. The apartment was very small, we had two chairs for four people and a tiny table to eat. The owner was called Angela, and when we arrived we were greeted by her mother, an Italian woman who did not speak English and we understood how we could. The neighborhood was quiet, but it is seen that years ago it was very conflictive: drugs, robbery, very insecure.
Despite being far from the center, there was a bus stop near where many were spent and in twenty minutes they left you near the most tourist places. The buses had two floors and went upstairs while the bus used to cross the streets was a way of doing tourism.
